NOTICE OF DEATH - SYD FOX
It is with regret that the Club announces the death of Life Member, Syd Fox who passed away on Sunday 20 October 2013.
Syd started racing in 1960 and is best known for his success in Formula Ford winning the Formula Ford 1600 champion in 1974 and finishing second in the Formula Ford Festival in 1973. Syd also had success in saloon and sports car racing winning the Snetterton 24 hours and competing in the European Touring Car Championship. He joined the Club in 1978.
The funeral will take place on Thursday 7 November at 12 noon at St Albans Woodland Burial Trust, Keysoe, Bedford. In accordance with Syd's wishes there is to be no actual service, just a simple burial with a celebrant saying a few words.
It is with very great regret that we inform Members of the passing of Alan Rees, who was elected as a Member in 1964
The Club regrets to report of the death of Alaster Smith, who was elected as a BRDC Member in 1966.
