NOTICE OF DEATH - PETER BEDLOW

It is with regret that the Club has to announce the death of Associate Member Peter Bedlow, who passed away on the 11th July.

Peter joined the BRDC in 1970 having worked for Firestone and Dunlop during his professional life. Peter was working on the grid as an apprentice for Firestone at the 1938 Donington Grand Prix and is one of the Club’s last links with the pre-war era.

Condolences have been sent to Peter’s wife, Vivienne.  Funeral details are as follows:

Thursday 28 July 2011 at 2.30pm

Memorial Chapel, Surrey and Sussex Crematorium, Balcombe Road, Crawley, West Sussex  RH10 3NQ

Floral tributes will be from the Family, donations in lieu of flowers in memory of Peter could be made to The British Heart Foundation or RAF Benevolent Fund to be sent c/o Stoneman Funeral Service, Doran Court, Reigate Road, Redhill RH1 6AZ.

Everyone is invited to join Vivienne and Family afterwards at the Chequers Hotel on the Brighton Road.
