MEET AMABA FINALIST ARVID LINDBLAD

16-year-old Arvid Lindblad currently competes in the Formula 4 Italian and Euro 4 Championships, a race winner in both. He concluded his season in the former series last weekend at Vallelunga, finishing third in the championship with 6 wins, and 4 podium finishes to his name. Whilst he was disappointed to not win after leading the championship earlier in the season, he had done more than enough to secure the Rookie title.

With a love of motorsport running through the family, thanks to his grandfather, he was able to try motocross as a three-year-old – without much joy – and karting at five, falling in love with four wheels instantly. Initially racing in the UK, he became a champion at 11 and soon started competing across Europe.

Moving into car racing when he turned 15, Arvid took part in three Italian F4 weekends in 2022 and followed that up with the full F4 UAE Championship early in 2023, recording one win and eight podiums in the Middle East.

Back in Formula 4 Italian this season, the young Brit has scored six victories, taken ten podiums, and secured four pole positions, as well as adding another win in Euro 4. Outside of motorsport he sat his GCSE exams a few years early thanks to his academic talents, and has a passion for Maths and Science, which serves him will while racing.
