SUPERSTARS INTRODUCED AT CIRCUIT LAUNCH
The future stars of British motorsport were the first to demonstrate the new Grand Prix Circuit after being invited to attend the official opening which took place on Thursday 29th April.
Sam Bird, James Calado, Adam Christodoulou, Chrissy Palmer, Alexander Sims, Dean Smith, Dean Stoneman, Nick Tandy, Oliver Webb and Tim Harvey, Director, BRDC SuperStars were introduced during the official ceremony. The SuperStars were then on hand to take guests and members of the media on passenger rides around the new circuit.
The new layout, which will play host to the British Grand Prix in 2010 was officially unveiled by the Duke of York ahead of the FIA GT1 World Championship and British Formula 3 International Series this weekend.
GB3 Championship race winner Joseph Loake named as the 34th winner of the prestigious Young Driver of the Year Award.
The Club regrets to report the death of John Turner, who was elected as a BRDC Member in 1977
Over 310 guests assembled in London to celebrate the successes of BRDC Members, SuperStars and Rising Stars on Monday 4 December
