NOTICE OF DEATH - GEORGE TYRRELL

It is with regret that I have to inform you of the death of Associate Member, George Tyrrell on 16 May 2010.

George started with Brian Lister (Light Engineering) Ltd in 1952 and worked as a mechanic on Archie Scott-Brown’s car up until Archie’s death in 1958. In the 1970s George worked as a mechanic for David Ham who was competing in the burgeoning historic racing scene in his Lister Jaguar. George was made an Associate (Mechanic) Member of the BRDC in 1977. Sadly George had been ill for some time and is survived by his wife, Maureen.

The funeral will take place at 12.15pm on Friday 28 May at the East Chapel, Cambridge City Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations via:
