HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II (1926 - 2022)

Members of the British Racing Drivers’ Club join the people of the United Kingdom in mourning the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who set such a remarkable example to us all over her 70-year reign. Through her sense of duty, her commitment to the Nation and The Commonwealth and her spirit of adventure, the Queen personified what it means to be British. She will be greatly missed.

As a mark of respect and sadness, flags at Silverstone are being flown at half-mast and suitable arrangements are being agreed with users of the circuit during the period of national mourning.

On behalf of its members, the BRDC sends sympathies and deepest condolences to His Majesty King Charles III, The Queen Consort and all members of the Royal Family.
