NOTICE OF DEATH - SPIKE WINTER

It is with regret that the Club has to announce the death of Associate Member John (Spike) Winter, who passed away on the 15th May.
Spike joined Fraser Nash Cars in 1948 where he prepared sports cars for amongst others, Bob Gerrard and Stirling Moss. In 1954 Spike joined John Williams to become Chief Engineer and Head Mechanic for Ian Walker, Stuart Lewis-Evans and Graham Hill.
Condolences have been passed to his brother in law, Maurice Wheeler.
