NOTICE OF DEATH - PAULINE HAILWOOD (1943-2020)

Pauline's funeral will take place on 20 July at 12 noon at St Peter All Saints Church, Market Place, Evesham WR11 4RW.  The ceremony will be restricted to family and close friends but Members are welcome to stand outside should you wish to pay your respects.  Donations are welcome to St Richard's Hospice or Cancer Research UK.

We are very sorry to have to advise Members of the death of Honorary Member Pauline Hailwood last Saturday. She was 77  years of age and had been suffering from cancer for a number of years.

Pauline was the widow of former BRDC Member, accomplished Formula 1 driver and Grand Prix motorcycle legend Mike Hailwood who tragically died in a road accident with their daughter Michelle in 1981.  To view Pauline’s obituary on the Bike Sport News website visit www.bikesportnews.com/news/news-detail/pauline-hailwood-has-died.

To their son David and family, the BRDC extends its sincerest condolences.  The funeral has yet to be arranged but it is expected to be a small family service.
