NOTICE OF DEATH - NEILL RATCLIFFE (1923 - 2020)

It is with great regret that we have to advise Members of the death of Honorary Member Neill Ratcliffe who passed away on 1 February at the age of 96.  Neill enjoyed a full and healthy life until recently suffering from a very short illness.

Neill had been a Member since 1978 and was elected as an Honorary Member in recognition of his Company’s valuable contribution to motor racing.  During the later years of World War 2 Neill flew a Spitfire in the RAF and as a young man enjoyed racing motorbikes.  Neill’s passion for motor racing came from his career in the motor industry and remained with him until his death.

The BRDC extends its deepest condolences to Neill’s wife Julia and his two daughters.  A private family service will be held on the 20 February.

A full obituary will follow in the Bulletin.
