NOTICE OF DEATH - PATRICK ANTHONY EVERARD

It is with regret that the Club has to announce the death of Life Member Patrick Anthony (Tony) Everard, who passed away on the 18th September.

Tony, who joined the BRDC in 1954, was probably better known for being the Chairman of Everards Brewery Ltd. He raced during the early 1950s with Aston Martin Cars and with a lifelong enthusiasm for motorcycles founded the Donington 100 Motorcycle Group where he served as Chairman and later it’s President. An avid sportsman, Tony founded many Clubs from the Helicopter Club of Great Britain to the British Fighter Kite Club.

Condolences have been passed to his nephew, Richard, with arrangements to be made for a private family funeral.

We are very sorry to have to advise Members of the death of Life Member Bob Hicks last Thursday.
It is with great regret that we have to report that Life Member Mike Anthony died yesterday at the age of 91.
