BRDC MEMBERS ROUND-UP JUNE 13-14

BRDC Full Member Fairuz Fauzy secured his first victory in the Formula Renault 3.5 this season at the Hungaroring on Saturday.

The Malaysian driver started from pole and shot in to the lead from the start taking his lead through to the chequered flag.

BRDC Full Member James Walker claimed fourth while Superstar Oliver Turvey was eighth just ahead of Rising Star Jon Lancaster. BRDC Rising Stars Greg Mansell and Brendon Hartley were 15th and 17th respectively.

In race two, held yesterday, Fairuz was once again the top BRDC driver finishing seventh. Jon Lancaster was 10th just a couple of places ahead of Brendon Hartley. James Walker, Oliver Turvey and Greg Mansell all failed to finish.

BRDC Full Member Aaron Scott was victorious in The British GT Championship at Knockhill in the second race of the weekend.
The ABG Motorsport driver finished race one in fourth place while fellow BRDC Full Member Michael Bentwood secured two sixth places.
