The British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC) is delighted to announce that Jonathan Rea is to become an Honorary Member of the Club, arguably the most exclusive club in motor racing.
With great regret we have to inform Members that Rex Woodgate, one of the BRDC’s oldest Members, died on Tuesday 15 June at the age of 94 after a short illness.
It is with great regret that we report that Life Member Vince Woodman died on Wednesday 2 June. He had been in poor health ever since suffering a stroke in the BRDC Clubhouse whilst attending the British Grand Prix nine years ago.
It is with great regret that we must inform Members of the death on Monday of Life Member Mike Garton. He was 84 years of age and had been only quite recently diagnosed with terminal cancer.
