Following the success of its Summer Races last year, the British Racing Drivers' Club are proud to present their 2005 Summer Races on Sunday 12th June.
Racing will take place on the Silverstone National Circuit, and a packed historic-based meeting will provide the entertainment.
The BRDC Summer Races will feature races for the following categories (final details to be confirmed):
- BRDC Historic Sportscar Championship (two races)
- The Peter Hanson Trophy for 1000cc Formula 3 cars
- Northern Ireland FF1600 Championship (two races)
- Clubmans Sports - celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the category (two races)
- Classic Formula 3
- Formula Junior
- Powered by Austin - a race for Austin cars to celebrate 100 years of the marque
- BRDC Challenge Race for Aston Martin Cars
Competitor entry forms and an Event Timetable will be available during early May.
The BRDC Summer Races will also feature:
- A parade of Austin cars
- A parade of Clubmans Sports car and star drivers
- A celebrity race car demonstration (full details to be confirmed)
- Hot Air Balloon Fly-outs
- Trade Stalls
- Car Club Displays
- After race party at the BRDC Clubhouse
