Detailed below are the main achievements from David Brabham's motor racing career:

2000:

  • Raced in the ALMS with Panoz Motorsports. 7th in the Championship.

1999:

  • Competed in the ALMS with Panoz Motorsports. 2nd in the driver's Championship with Eric Bernard. Won the Petit Le Mans event and 7th at Le Mans.

1998:

  • Won the Professional Sports Car Championship title in America with 7 wins for Panoz Motorsports. Won the GT Class at the Sebring 12hrs. 7th in Le Mans 24hr.

1997:

  • Won the Bathurst 1000 partnered by brother, Geoff Brabham, in a BMW.
  • Joined Panoz Motorsports and won his class in both the Watkins Glen 6hrs and the Laguna Seca GP.

1996:

  • Won the Japanese GT Championship with the Lark McLaren Team.
  • 5th at Le Mans 24hr in a Gulf McLaren.
  • 6th in the Zuhai International race in a Marlboro McLaren.

1995:

  • Competed in the BTCC with BMW.

1994:

  • Raced in Formula One for the Simtek Team.

1993:

  • Winner of the GT Class in the Le Mans 24hr in a Jaguar XJ220.
  • Won the British Rally Cross GP Nora Challenge and finished 4th in the Bathurst 1000 in a Winfield Holden.
  • Test driver for the Footwork F1 Team.

1992:

  • Drove in the World Sports Car Championship with Toyota.
  • First in the Daytona 24hr GTP Class.
  • Test driver for the Footwork F1 Team.

1991:

  • 4 races for team Roni Ralt in the F3000 Championship.
  • Won the nurburgring and Sugo 1000km races of the World Sportscar Championship in a Jaguar XJR 14.
  • Won the Spa 24hr race in a  Nissan Skyline GTR Touring Car.

1990:

  • Made F1 debut with the Brabham F1 Team (that had been started by his father in 1962).

1989:

  • Won the British F3 Championship with 6 wins, 7 poles and 13 front row starts.
  • Won the F3 World Cup in Macau with the Bowman Team.

1988:

  • Third in the Formula Atlantic NZ Tasman Series.
  • Raced in six events in the Formula Vauxhall Lotus Series.
  • Third in the F3 B Class Championship with five wins and five poles.

1987:

  • Gold Star Champion in Australian F2.
  • Sixth in the Formula Atlantic NZ Series.
  • Raced in the American Formula Atlantic series (4 races) and in the South American F3 Championship (3 races).

1986:

  • 4th Australian Formula Ford Championship (4 wins).

1985:

  • Raced a Ford laser, 2 wins.

1984:

  • Karting - won Canberra Cup and the New South Wales Country Championships.

1983:

  • First race in a 100cc sprint kart in Australia.

1973:

  • First drove at eight years old in an EH Holden on the family farm at Wagga Wagga, Australia.
