Career Description

David Brodie started racing in 1963, winning his first race at Silverstone. Since his debut he has gone on to race in various cars. These have ranged from Saloons to F3 and Sports Cars. In all he has competed in over 700 races and from thase has an excellent total of 350+ victories. He has also driven works cars for seven different manufacturers.

David was a British Racing Drivers' Club director, from 1992 until 2001.

David raced in his first event at the 8 Clubs meeting at Silverstone in June 1963, which he won. David's last race of the 2004 season was also in an 8 Clubs event held at the BRDC Walter Hayes Trophy on Saturday November 6th. David also won this race!

And so, if David does not race again, he would have started his career with a win at the 8 Clubs, and finished his career with a win at the 8 Clubs - 41 years and over 800 races later!
