Allan Moore's first race was in 1948 at Silverstone. From 1950 - 54 he raced an F3 JBS Triumph 500 in many races at home and abroad. He also raced an Alfa Romeo, Tojeiro, Jaguar, Cooper and Allard J2X.

From 1954 to 1957 Allan was placed 16 times behind the wheel of a Lister Bristol and Lister Maserati.

Allan's racing was not just confined to motor cars however. Between 1958 and 1970 he raced Aeroplanes, Power Boats and Sailboats.
