WALTER HAYES TROPHY ENTRY UPATE
- Silverstone Circuits Limited and HSCC to release entry documentation next week
Entry Forms for the Walter Hayes Trophy (November 1-2) will be available from next week.
Silverstone Circuits Limited and the race-organising Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC) are currently finalising documentation for the event that will take place on the 1.6-mile Silverstone National Circuit.
The timetable will mirror image the 2007 event, with support races to the FF1600 cars coming from: The Secretary's Challenge (for BRDC Members), The Haggis Trophy (for Clubmans cars), HSCC Open and Closed Wheel races (for competitors from the Historic Sports Car Club) The FF2000 Trophy (for Formula Ford 2000 cars) and The Ginetta Winter Challenge (for Ginetta G20 sportscars).
Testing will be available on Thursday 30-Friday 31 October (Thursday exclusive for FF1600 competitors), while sessions will be available for open and closed wheel cars contesting races at the WHT on the Friday only.
An 'early bird' booking is to be offered by SCL to FF1600 competitors who book two days testing, with a WHT race entry - allowing an overall saving on cost.
Check back to this site for further details next week.
