TURVEY DOUBLES UP
BRDC Superstar, Oliver Turvey, scored his second British F3 International Series pole position this morning (Friday) when he topped the timesheets for round 16 of the '08 championship at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
The Racing Steps Foundation driver had already claimed pole for Spa's opening race with a strong performance yesterday, and his time this morning put him clear of hard-charging Swede, Marcus Ericsson, and Australian, Sam Abay.
Segio Perez (T-Sport Dallara-Mugen) and Jaime Alguersuari (Red Bull Dallara-Mercedes) - the joint championship leaders, were placed sixth and seventh.
*The British F3 International Series supports the Total Spa 24-Hour Race this weekend, a round of the FIA GT Championship.
