The BRDC Historic Sportscar Championship 2004 season trophies were presented at the Annual Awards of the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC) held at the BRDC Clubhouse at Silverstone on Friday 14th January.
Sir Jackie Stewart OBE, President of the BRDC, was on-hand to present the prestigious awards to the winners of categories from last season.
Howden Ganley, was also present to award the Denis Ganley Memorial Trophy to Jim Woodley - the trophy that is the annual trophy for Class D competitors.
James Beckett, BRDC Assistant Club Secretray, and co-ordinator of the BRDC Historic Sportscar Championship, announced the winners, and said afterwards: "The event was voted a big success. It is good that the BRDC Historic Sportscar Championship winners can have their season trophies presented at the Club's Annual Awards Luncheon. Well done to all the winners."
*Plans for the 2005 season are at an advanced stage, and a list of dates for the new season will be released within the next two weeks.
