BRITISH GRAND PRIX - SATURDAY (1)
Silverstone awoke to clear blue skies this morning, as day two of the Santander British Grand Prix dawned.
Following a blustery day yesterday, hopes are high that the good weather will stay, and the sun smile, on the Silverstone crowd for the remainder of the GP weekend.
The Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen set the pace during Friday's untimed sessions, and the British faithful will be wishing to see World Championship leader, Lewis Hamilton, qualify well during the one-hour practice starting at 1pm.
Support races for GP2 and the Historic Sports Car Challenge take place this afternoon, with reigning British F3 champion, Mike Conway, looking for GP2 success, and a host of BRDC Members will be in the historic event.
