BRDC SILVER STAR (as of 6th May 2008) - PLATO TAKES THE LEAD
2007 BRDC Silver Star winner, Jason Plato, has taken the lead of the '08 race following a strong weekend at Donington Park in the most recent rounds of the HiQ British Touring Car Championship.
The SEAT driver scored the first victory for a diesel-powered car in the BTCC , and followed that up with podium positions to move himself twelve points clear at the top of the BRDC Silver Star rankings.
The Club's newest Member, Mat Jackson, recorded his first BRDC Silver Star points courtesy of an eighth place finish in the third round at Donington.
