Dinner to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the British Racing Drivers' Club
Thursday 21st February, 2008 at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, London
I am delighted to announce that the President in Chief of the British Racing Drivers' Club, His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent, KG will attend the above dinner to mark the 80th Anniversary of the formation of the Club.
In addition, a second guest will be present, in honour of the founding fathers of the Club. `Old Number 3', the Speed Six Bentley driven at Le Mans in 1930 by founder BRDC Members Sammy Davis and Clive Dunfee, will be joining Club Members at the RAC for the evening.
This is a Members only evening, for which the dress is Black Tie. Members are encouraged to wear a Club lapel badge. The evening starts with a Champagne reception in the Committee Room from 7pm followed by dinner in the Mountbatten Room at 8pm. An excellent menu has been chosen and good chateau bottled claret will be served. All Members attending will receive a unique and highly collectable Club momento, which will only be available to those present on the evening.

There is unlikely to be a similar such event until the 90th anniversary in 2018, so please do not miss your chance to attend an important Club anniversary!
