Amongst other things, Henry Mitchell drove his own Frazer Nash Le Mans Replica and some of the Frazer Nash Frazer factory cars for A.J.Aldington. He also took part in the TT races at the Isle of Man and Dundrod.

He drove a Frazer Nash car in the 1953 Le Mans finishing first in class and 13th overall. At the club level he saw much success in races at circuits such as Goodwood, Silverstone, Castle Coombe, Crystal Palace and Snetterton.
