Prior to 1970 Neil McGrath competed in Autocross and Sprints. In 1970 started circuit racing acheiving good results with a mini until 1973. Then:
- 1974 Renault 5 Champion and Runner Up in the Escort Mexico Championship.
- 1975 Renault 5 Champion and good results in the Escort Championship.
- 1976 Renault 5 Champion and Third in the Escort Sport Championship.
- 1977 Renault 5 Championship - Third overall.
- 1978 Renault 5 Champion and Third in Escort Championship.
- 1979Works Renault Gordini in Production Saloon Championship - Runner Up overall and Class Champion.
- 1980 Production Saloon Championship - Third overall.
- 1981 Everset sponsored Metro in British Saloon Car Championship - Third in Class and two wins.
- 1982 British Saloon Car Championship.
- 1984 British Touring Car Championship with a Rover 3.5 SDI.
- 1985 British Touring Car Championship with a Rover 3.5 SDI - Third in Class and five overall second places.
- 1986 Japanese Touring Cars with a Mercedes Cosworth.
- 1987 Selected rounds of the Production Saloon Championship in a Cosworth.
