1st race: Spa 24 hours of 1948 on 13 year old type PB MG with Jacques Swatezs, finishing 3rd in the 1100cc class.  Serious career began in 1952 be winning Spa Production Car race with Olds mobile 88 - Won 1952 G.P des Frontieres (Chimay) first time out in a F2 car (HWM) followed by 5th in Belgium GP and 2nd in 1953 Eifel GP (Nurburgring) - won 11 of 13 races on Spa circuit including 1955 Sports car race (Aston Martin DB35) and 1960 Sports Car Race (Porsche).  2nd in1958         race (Aston M DBR2) 1st touring cars over 2000cc in 1953 Mille Miglia - 2nd Reims 12 hours 1956 (Jaguar D with Mike Hawthorn).
