Started racing in 1983 in club events with a Porsche 911. Has raced 9 different models of 911's. Won the 1990 Modified Porsche Championship and has won in production and historic Porsches and in the BRDC GT Championship again in Porsches. Has also raced in prodsports in a Lotus Europa and in E30 and E36 BMW M3's in international endurance races winning the Willhire 24 hours outright in 1993 with Mike Jordan's Team Eurotech. Also won the class in the Vallalunga 6 hours in 1998. As well as having raced at most Uk circuits, has also competed abroad at Spa, Monza, Most, Vallalunga and Zandvoort.

Mike also raced in the BRDC Secretary's Challenge at the Walter Hayes Trophy meeting in November 2004.
