TURNER AND HALL HEAD TO NURBURGRING
Darren Turner and Stuart Hall will head to the Nurburgring this weekend as part of the Aston Martin Racing team, which is bolstering its effort to win the Le Mans series title, 50 years after winning the World Sportscar Championship.
BRDC Full Member Darren will drive the 009 LMP1 car with Harold Primat while Stuart a Superstar who has recently graduated to become a Full Member will be in the 008 with Chris Buncombe and Miguel Ramos.
Stuart said ahead of the weekend: “It is fantastic to be back in the Aston Martin after Le Mans. I have competed in the Nürburgring 1000km for the last two years so I know the circuit quite well but it will be great to go back there with a factory team with a great chance of success.”
The Club regrets to report of the death of Alaster Smith, who was elected as a BRDC Member in 1966.
