NEW BRDC RISING STARS ANNOUNCED

With all the attributes to forge an excellent career in motor racing and in recognition of their strong recent performances and potential to succeed throughout 2021 and beyond, six new drivers have been recruited to the British Racing Drivers' Club's prestigious Rising Star Scheme.

All of the following drivers recently completed a socially distanced interview with members of the Rising Star selection panel and it is the Club's pleasure to welcome them to the BRDC:

Jame Baldwin – British GT Championship GT3 race winner and World's Fastest Gamer
Luke Browning – Reigning British F4 Champion
Gus Burton – Ginetta GT4 Supercup runner-up in 2020
Patrick Kibble – GT4 class front-runner in British GT Championship

Sam Neary – MSV GT Cup race winner and British GT Pro-Am podium finisher

Aged 24 and under, the BRDC Rising Stars are very much the future of the Club, today. Scouted from trackside, the BRDC Rising Stars are in effect ‘Junior Members’ of the Club, all taking their motor racing very seriously and all aiming for a professional career within the sport. From all four-wheel racing disciplines, the Rising Stars represent the BRDC in a wide variety of championships worldwide, and from the races contested while wearing the scheme's unique ‘blue roundel’ it is hoped the Rising Star will graduate to the ranks of Full membership.
